Found on the street


I found these things on the street yesterday: a broken clay piggy bank (almost 5 lb. of clay) and a beautiful chestnut tree branch. I tried to repair the pig but sadly one of the legs just refused to fit in the hole. Now it will have to stay as a tripod pig, poor thing!

Me encontré estas cosas ayer en la calle: un chanchito-alcancía roto (más de dos kilos de greda) y una linda rama de castaño. Traté de reparar el cerdito pero lamentablemente una de las piernas se negó a encajar en el hoyo. Ahora se tendrá que quedar como un chanchito trípode, ¡pobre!

pobre chanchito! mañana veré si le puedo hacer calzar la patita.. a lo mejor también puedo ser veterinario de animales de greda :)

But how gorgeous! What a beautiful find... a piggy bank that someone has cracked open to get the money out. It's a work of art all taped together like that :) Loving that chestnut branch too - very beautiful. It's a lucky day for you I think Karen :) Kx

Vaya castañas! No me imaginaba que tuviéseis castañas por ahí abajo... Siempre las asocié a otras latitudes.

oh, me and my boyfriend were both tought by our fathers that anything you can find in the street may be useful:) we're both pretty much into 'found objects' to that day:) I think the pig looks much better in a tripod-taped version than it used to originally

You give life to and beautify this once abandoned the piggy bank. It's really a great idea!
