I love kraft paper.
Someone asked what happened to my Flickr account. Well, the thing is I needed more time for my projects/life and thought of cutting out some virtual pastimes, like Flickr and Twitter. I'm not sure how much time I gained actually (15 min at most?) but I at least I feel like I did something. Days go by flying! Is this part of growing old?

Time well spent, beautiful paper crafts!
Love the paper crown!
Grab those 15 minutes where you can... "They" (whoever they are???) say that times gets faster and faster as you get older!!! I think "They" might be right :)
really lovely paperwork. at first i thought the simple scalloped one was a sculpture mimicking pencil shavings but now i see all 3. really cool. p.s. i waste way more than 15 min w flickr!
Alessandra – Thank you! This is what I need time for!
Lamina – How scary is this?
Filigree – Probably I spent more than 15 min on Flickr + Twitter but now that I'm no longer there it doesn't feel much the difference after all. I don't know where my time's going!
So lovely!
BTW: I don't think time gets quicker - there is just less new things, and more routine as you get older. And routine moments are just not the ones you live and memorize intensely. At least that's my theory...
Very lovely, good idea:) There are books written about that time goes faster as you get older. Never read one, no time for it.. ..
Preciosisiíiisimas guirnaldas-volantes-coronas...!
And interesting discussion about time. I don't feel more routine in my life when I get older, but more things to do in my life. More ideas, more activities, more oportunities, that's why I feel time gets so fast.
And neither know I where my time is going. My boyfriend has a list of his everyday activities and writes down how much time he wastes in each one. It works for him (not sure that it will be the same with me...)
mooi hoor + Elisabeth + Montse – There 's so much that can be said about time. I've just learned there are some pulsations in our brains which mark the sense of time and these pulsations gets slower as we grow old, hence the sensation that time flies. So, it's a fact of life. Perhaps I should try Montse's boyfriend technique? :)
i love these SO much!
Such fun - a great idea Karen!
I love everything you do! Seriously :) I like your thoughts on cutting out virtual pastimes, I think it does help to be away from the computer more and actually participate in life!
Love love love! its so beautiful and such a great ideaand the pic. are great! xx
Oh I LOVE them! You are just so amazing Karen - the ideas you have and how you put them into use, it's just so inspiring! Thank you :) Kx
I've missed you on Flickr & hope you come back
I LOVE these. The paper is lovely, and the pink thread is SO beautiful. Is it a secret where you find the thread?
:)
Anna – It's actually polyester neon orange thread. I bought the spool years ago, it has no brand, just generic Chinese stuff.
Thanks Karen! It looks so pink!
I actually bought some neon orange polyester thread on Etsy just before I saw your answer - and I hope it does the trick for me :)
