These last days I've been playing with my new toy – an 8-shaft table loom. I'm so excited to finally have it. I've done a few samples but I can't wait to start a real project. Rubbing hands!
(;_;)
I feel so heart-broken to see the devastation in Japan. What they are dealing with now is beyond our understanding. I remember that after last year's earthquake I ended up with my nerves wrecked with all the aftershocks and destruction and stories of loss. I can hardly imagine how people there are feeling. All my thoughts are with Japan.

so jealous of your loom - seems like ages ago that i had the pleasure of weaving...
Looking forward to see what you will make, the sample seems already beautiful.
My thought are with Japan too (and if only people should stop making war to each other in the rest of the world, that would be a great achievement for humanity).
Yes, my linen cloth found its place !! :))
your loom looks like a beauty, enjoy!!
nicole: Do come back to weaving!
alessandra: Oh yes, these last days/weeks have been SO eventful and tragic. Let's hope for the best now.
céline: YES!!!!! I love love love it! Thanks again my dear!
ilse: I'm having such a great time with it. If only threading were a faster thing to do...
AHHHHHH. i think about weaving so much, but ive never done it and dont know where too start! It all seems so daunting...
your samples already look amazing. can't wait to see what else you make.
Jacinta: You could start with a small rigid heddle loom. I think it's the best approach to weaving.
Elizabeth: Thanks dear!

jaime: You mean looms like in more than one??? Now I'm jealous!
There's nothing like having a new loom to work on...it's so much fun. I love your little pin cushion too.
You are inspiring me to play with my table loom (which is dressed with a warp and just sitting there!).
