These are so awesome. Do you just cut them out with normal paper scissors and punches?

For these pins I just used my paper scissors but after all the cutting, the plastic handle cracked! I didn't use punches – the smaller shapes are plastic chips and tile spacers. Probably you'd need a heavy-duty punch to cut out the plastic. It'd be great to know if it works.
