I&#39;m glad you noticed that detail – at first I placed the pillow parallel to the book but I felt there was something not working in the whole composition until I noticed the diagonals on the covers, turned the pillow and that was it, everything fell into place. The contrast with the covers of the old embroidery book makes for some nice geometry along with the pillow.
