Studio time

Four weeks ago I started a new embroidery piece (related to these potholders) and still haven't finished it. I'm trying to improve my left hand's dexterity with this slate frame (the right hand works over the frame while the left one goes under it.)

###

Good morning from NYC, Karen.

What a treat I have just had in catching up with your recent posts. It's clear that your creativity continues to find new ways of expression.

I very much like what you've written about your inspiration and how you like to communicate through your art. My eyes tell me that you succeed very well!

It was a pleasure to also see some exterior views of Chile and enjoy the combinations of the "ordinary" that can become extraordinary.

Your use of all sorts of materials is so good. I very much enjoyed seeing the beauty of your mending/repairing/embellishing treasured textiles with your weaving.

All in all, I have have a wonderful time visiting your site. Continued best wishes! xo
