I couldn't resist sharing with you these pajamas (or bodysuits, how you call them?) and doudou my mother has made for her granddaughter (my niece) Violeta. She will look like a little clown. How adorable.
My little fig tree has a nice story behind it. It's actually a cut branch of this tree which was in the backyard where my sister celebrated her wedding (see pictures of the wedding here.) The branch has never grown more than its original size but has managed to yield its first two figs this season. The same day Violeta was born, the first fig was ready to be harvested (and eaten by me!) It's like the little fig and my sister had been connected. Sweet, isn't it?
Though I think she no longer has time to read my blog, this post goes to my sister and her husband who are patiently learning to be the best parents. Violetita, you are lucky to have them!
¿Lindo, no?
