Making my own shampoo. A friend gave me a bag of quillay's bark (soap bark tree) which has cleaning properties. It's not only good for your washing your hair but also for cleaning silk and woolens. Soak a handful of bark in a cup of hot water and let it sit for a couple of hours (or overnight). Strain the liquid and use it as a regular shampoo. I'm still waiting for the soaking time to complete. I'll tell you later how it went :)
