Cornflower Blue + Sand pillow photographed over the endpapers of an old embroidery book. I love the marketing in it – «Sort out your future or your finances studying with the methods from Marti de Gili» and «Modern procedures in cut, sewing and haute couture.» Encouraging.

  1. Hmmm, I love the colours of the pillow. The contrast with the covers of the old embroidery book makes for some nice geometry along with the pillow. It definitely lends another kind of a flavour to the photograph.

    Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you noticed that detail – at first I placed the pillow parallel to the book but I felt there was something not working in the whole composition until I noticed the diagonals on the covers, turned the pillow and that was it, everything fell into place. But it took me lots of shots to realise!
